Description

This option hints at the sumi-e art vibe with a brush and black ink on a paper-style entry mural. We have contrasted the bold statement of the mural with soothing moss green colors on the walls and the wall tile. The varying shading of the green in the tiles provides visual interest and speaks to the “hidden grove” feel. The hexagon floor tiles are reminiscent of steppingstones, add a layer of texture and pick up the charcoal tones found in the mural to 􀀁 e the room together. We have chosen to paint the ceiling the same color as the walls to provide a restful envelope and give the room a cozy intimate feel. The fixtures and accessories are in a dark tone to spread the visual contrast of the mural throughout the space. We are using the same ornate mirror and light fixture in this option to offer more of an eclectic feel with a mixture of styles and finishes.
